APPARATUS FOR CORRECTING SHAPE OF BENT PART OF FRONT END OF SLAB

PURPOSE: An apparatus for correcting shape of a bent part of the front end of a slab is provided to prevent the surface of slab transfer rolls from being damaged by flatly polishing the cut front end of the bent slab after cutting the front end of a bent slab using gas flame. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for correcting shape of a bent part of the front end of a slab comprises a rail(10) installed along a transfer direction of the slab (S), a transfer table(20) which is connected to a driving motor(26) so that the transfer table(20) is travelled along the rail(10); a plurality of support rolls(24) which are installed at the transfer table(20) perpendicularly to a transfer direction of the slab (S); a rotation arm(40) which is mounted on the transfer table(20) so that the rotation arm(40) is rotationally moved to the upper part of the slab (S) by a driving motor(28); a moving frame(50) which is connected to a cylinder(42) so that the moving frame(50) is moved along the rotation arm(40); and a gas cutting machine(70) and a polishing machine(60) which are installed at cylinders(51,52), the cylinders(51,52) are mounted on the moving frame(50) so that they are moved back and forth to the lower side.
