MINIMUM DISTORTION 3D WOVEN PREFORM

PURPOSE: A 3D preform for a reinforced composite material is characterized by being free from distortion of fibers and being folded into shape with the fibers. CONSTITUTION: A 2D fabric constituting the 3D preform for the reinforced composite material is comprised of: a first portion; a second portion folded to the first portion; plural fibers connecting with the first portion and the second portion; and fiber paths formed by the connecting fibers. The fiber path contains a fiber part been shorter than the paths and a fiber part been longer than the paths. When the first portion is folded, the fiber woven short draws the fiber woven long.
