<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device that can improve the degree of freedom of toning and enhance the toning accuracy when toning the lighting color of a display body with a fluorescence layer, for the lighting device to be mounted on various kinds of vehicles represented by, for example, automobile, motorbike, marine vessel, farm or construction machine, and aircraft. SOLUTION: The lighting device comprises a light source 6, a display body 5 (scale plate) having a display part 56 (transmission part) transmitted to be illuminated by the light from this light source 6, a toning means 54 located between the display part 56 and the light source 6 for adjusting the lighting color of the display part 56, and a dot-pattern shaped fluorescence layer 540 exciting to light-emit the toning means 54 by the light of the light source 6. The variable-density of each dot D (fluorescence layer 540) is set corresponding to the lighting color of the display part 56, and then the display part 56 is toned by the composite color of the light toned by passing through each dot D and the light passed through between respective dots D without toning.</p> |
