PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an accurate detection of a force acting on a tire in a vehicle. SOLUTION: A detector for force acting on tire is mounted at a vehicle having a body including wheel units 20 each mounting a tire 24 on the outer periphery of a wheel 22 and hubs 30 as holders each for integrally rotatably holding the wheel unit by coaxially mounting the wheel. The detector is provided between the wheel and the holder in a state in which a force therebetween is transmitted. The detector comprises a detecting unit 10 for detecting the tire operating force. According to the detector, the acting force can be detected without restriction by the wheel and without restriction by the hub. Accordingly, according to this detector, the acting force can be accurately detected by rationalization of the arrangement, structure, shape or the like of components.
