PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack gage for obtaining a stably monitoring accuracy and facilitating an adhesion to an object to be monitored. SOLUTION: The crack gage comprises flexible mounting paper 11, a crack detector 12 having a lead wire wiring part 14 formed of a conductor on the paper 11, and an insulating layer 13 formed on the detector 12. In this case, after the layer 13 side is adhered to the object to be monitored, the paper 11 is released, the part 14 is connected to a measuring instrument via a lead wire to monitor occurrence of a crack of the object to be monitored.
