PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vehicle driving apparatus which is assembled easily, whose maintainability can be enhanced, which can lower the rate of generation of a failure and which can lower the costs such as a component cost, an assembling cost and the like. SOLUTION: The automatic vehicle driving apparatus D is provided with an actuator 4 which operates the shift lever of a vehicle 1 and a mainframe 5 which sends electric power and a control signal to the actuator 4. The actuator 4 has an arm mechanism 15 composed of a hand part 10 which grips the shit lever, a front-and-rear arm part 12 which comprises a moving body 11 moved to the front-and-rear direction of the vehicle 1 and a left-and-right arm part 14 which comprises a moving body 13 moved to the left and right direction of the vehicle 1. The hand part 10 is held by the moving body 11 in any one arm part from among the arm part 12 and the arm part 14. The arm part 12 is held by the moving body 13 in the arm part 12. A drive means 16 and a drive means 17 which move the moving body 11 and the moving body 13 are installed at the arm part 12 and the arm part 14.
