PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an assembling property in a rotation transmission mechanism. SOLUTION: A timing chain mechanism comprises a timing chain bridged between a crank sprocket and a cam sprocket, a chain damper that is disposed on the tension side of the tiding chain and guides the timing chain, a chain slipper that is disposed on the loose side of the-timing chain, has one oscillatably fixed end and the other free end, and has a guide and a tension energizing function of the timing chain, and a chain tensioner contacting with the free end of the chain slipper to apply a tension energizing force. An assembling body (rotation transmission mechanism) is mounted to a case before the crank sprocket, the cam sprocket, the timing chain, the chain damper, and the chain slipper are mounted to an engine.
