PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly cool a head-ward part 4a and a lower half part of a cooling passage below it. SOLUTION: A cooling device of a Siamese cylinder is provided with the head-ward part 4a between left and right boss parts 5, 5 for cylinder head fastening and a cooling water channel 15 along a lower part of this head-ward part 4a, this cooling water channel 15 is divided and separated vertically, cooling water introducing parts 13, 13 are formed in series in the vertical direction along all over an area in the vertical direction of the lower half part of the cooling water channel from the boss parts 5, 5 for cylinder head fastening to the bottom edge of the cooling water channel 15, these cooling water introducing parts 13, 13 are extended forward and backward toward cylinder jackets 8, 8 and inlet front and rear edges of extended heads of these cooling water introducing parts 13, 13 are formed of cylinder outer peripheral surfaces 3a, 3a facing each other.
