PURPOSE: A gas injector for detecting gas leakage of a CNG(compressed natural gas) vehicle is provided to check gas leakage conveniently and easily by directly injecting gas to a gas pipe with regulating pressure in a nitrogen gas container. CONSTITUTION: A gas injector has a nitrogen gas container(10) storing nitrogen gas; a pressure regulator(11) regulating pressure of nitrogen gas in the container; a pressure gauge(12) indicating pressure in the nitrogen gas container; a connecting hose(13) connecting the nitrogen gas container to a nozzle(15); a valve unit(14) shutting off nitrogen gas and preventing leakage; the nozzle injecting nitrogen gas; and a stand(16) transporting the nitrogen gas container with wheels(16a). Gas leakage is detected conveniently with checking the gas line by soap bubbles.
