PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an universal joint shaft capable of easily connecting a shaft by arranging a driving yoke and driven yoke in a designated position where both yokes are close to each other and further facilitating their assembling, installation, and modularization and also reducing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In the universal joint shaft 10 comprising the driving yoke 20 and driven yoke 30 so as to transmit rotary force while it is slant at optional angle, a three-dimensional joint 40 comprising of a driving shaft 50 and driven shaft 60, in which pointed heads of opposing both ends are relatively separated and a section in a radial direction is arranged in a quadrilateral, which are respectively combined with the driving yoke 20 and driven yoke 30 arranged at a designated position, and a connecting shaft 70, in which axial slip and rotary force transmission is freely made between the driving shaft 50 and driven shaft 60 and the connecting shaft is arranged in its outside against the section in a radial direction corresponding to the driving shaft 50 and driven shaft 60, is provided in the universal joint shaft. |
