<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and precisely inspect whether or not a crimped portion is surely kept in firm contact with a round chamfered portion of an inner ring. SOLUTION: A rolling bearing is fitted and installed on a shaft portion (b) of a hub (a), and an inner end of the shaft portion (b) is crimped outward in a radial direction, and a crimped portion is pushed toward the inner ring (c) of the ball bearing so as to prevent the bearing from pulling out. The crimped portion is tightly fitted on the round chamfered portion an inner peripheral end portion of the inner ring (c). Upon measuring outer diameters of the inner ring under both conditions of prior and after crimping works respectively, axial force of the crimped portion is controlled by an expanded amount.</p> |
