PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saliva dry tissue observation apparatus that prevents an inner illumination means, an enlargement lens, and the like from being broken easily, can attach or detach a cover easily, and can operation switches in observation easily. SOLUTION: The saliva dry tissue observation apparatus comprises an enlargement mirror member having a sample section 16 and an enlargement lens 21, an illumination means 9 for applying light to the sample section 16, a body 1 for accommodating the illumination means 9, a frame 11 that is connected to the body 1 and fixes the enlargement mirror member to the body 1, and a cover 12 that accommodates the enlargement mirror section and can be opened or closed to the frame 11. The body 1 can be formed by an elastic material. The cover 12 is connected to the end side of the enlargement mirror member side of the frame 11 via a flexible hinge 13 so that it can be opened and closed easily. The cover 12, the flexible pin 13, and the frame 11 are integrated.
