PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake noise-judging apparatus and a brake noise-judging method for accurately measuring a brake noise when braking. SOLUTION: The brake noise-judging apparatus is provided with a sound- measuring instrument that is composed so that it can measure sound only through the wall surface of each braking apparatus to detect only the sound that is generated by each braking apparatus for braking each wheel of a vehicle, and a computer for judging whether the braking apparatus generates noise or not based on sound data that are detected by the sound-measuring instrument.
