PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturizable azimuth sensor. SOLUTION: This azimuth sensor comprises a sheet-like substrate 11; two or more detecting elements 12a-12d provided on the upper face of the substrate 11 and serially mutually connected to be substantially right-angled; an input electrode 13, ground electrode 14 and output electrodes 15a and 15b formed on the peripheral part of the substrate 11 to be connected to the respective double end parts of the detecting elements 12a-12d; a first coil 16 directly wound on the substrate 11 to apply a bias magnetic field to the detecting elements 12a-12d; and a second coil 17 wound on the substrate 11 orthogonally to the first coil 16 to apply a bias magnetic field to the detecting elements 12a-12d.
