PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type tray with a double side wall which is structurally strong, is easily folded or unfolded, and whose material cost is cut down greatly. SOLUTION: The center square area of one sheet material constituting a tray material forms the bottom face of a tray. One set of facing bottom face sides is continuously provided with a double side wall integrally connecting an inside wall and an outside wall through a double folding line. On both side ends of each double side wall, by extending the double side wall, a divisional double sidewall shorter than the other set of facing bottom sides is extensively provided. In a two folded condition, one free end of the set of facing divisional double side walls is inserted in the other free end to be fixed by a fitting means. On the other set of facing bottom face sides, an auxiliary side wall is continuously provided to be superimposed on the outside of the divisional double side wall. Both side ends of the top edge of the wall are provided with a corner piece for catching the top face of the double side wall.
