PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior device for a vehicle capable of preventing the occurrence of locking due to meshing of gears even when a door of the interior device for the vehicle having an actuator for opening and closing the door is manually operated. SOLUTION: This interior device for the vehicle is provided with body 10, the actuator 20 having a motor 21 for opening and closing the door, a stroke mechanism 30 for letting the actuator 20 stroke for the body 10, the door 40 opened and closed in the interlocking relationship with stroke movement of the actuator 20, and a stopper 50 provided at a stroke end of the actuator 20. The stroke mechanism 30 is provided with a worm gear 33 and a rack and pinion mechanism 36. A rack 35 has a deformation allowance means 60 allowing the elastic deformation of a rack part corresponding to a pinion 34 when the actuator 20 hits the stopper 50 and is pressed by the pinion 34 in the direction in which the rack part leaves the pinion 34.
