PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book, i.e., a book type information transmitting medium, which can use sub-wall surfaces efficiently. SOLUTION: The book-type information transmitting medium (1) has a front cover surface (6), a rear cover surface, a main wall surface (2), and the three sub-wall surfaces (3, 4, and 5). At least one of the three sub-wall surfaces (3, 4, and 5) is provided with printed information (AD) with a prescribed printing direction set up. The prescribed printing direction is set up corresponding to the exhibition direction during the sale of the medium (1).
