A bearing (1), comprising outer fixed and inner rotating (3) rings with races (6, 8) for rolling bodies (4), has ring(s) made in two parts (2a, 2b), each with one section (8a, 8b) of the race, and a joint (7) creating a clearance (j) between the second part and the rolling bodies when a load is applied to the bearing, with the clearance taken up when the direction of the load is reversed.
