MULTILAYERED MOLDED OBJECT MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a multilayered molded object efficiently and safely. SOLUTION: First and second skin materials adjacent to each other in a planar direction are arranged between a pair of male and female molds and a molten thermoplastic resin is supplied to the back surfaces of the skin materials from the mold positioned on the back side of the skin materials to fill a mold cavity, and the thermoplastic resin and the skin materials are laminated to manufacture the molded object. In this method, a grasping member constituted of a pair of grasping pieces mutually opposed to the boundary part of the skin materials is housed in the cavity surface of the mold and projected from the grasping member housing part to separate both grasping pieces and the boundery part of the first and second skin materials is inserted in the gap between the grasping pieces. The grasping member is fitted in the grasping member housing part by power or under its own weight to bring both grasping pieces to a contact state to grasp the boundary part of the first and second skin materials and the molten thermoplastic resin is supplied.
