PURPOSE: A variable accelerating pedal system is provided to increase the driving convenience of a driver by changing a throttle opening according to the operated status of an accelerating pedal. CONSTITUTION: A first cylinder(3) converts the operating force of an accelerating pedal(1) to the hydraulic pressure. A second cylinder(17) controls the opening of a throttle valve(15) by receiving the hydraulic pressure of the first cylinder. A flow control valve(25) is installed in a bypass passage(23) to be divided from a passage to connect the first cylinder and the second cylinder. A third cylinder(27) accepts a fluid via the flow control valve. A controller(33) controls the flow control valve. A mode selecting device transmits a control purpose of a driver to the controller. Thereby, the fatigue of the driver is reduced.
