A switch handle or joystick 10 is made from two shells, and comprises a receiver 14 for switch units 15,16 and 17, and a pivoting, adjustable hand rest 20. This hand rest pivots about a pin 29, which in turn extends into a recess in the side of the handle, (figure 4A 36). When in a closed position as in figure 2A, the hand rest is locked in place by the part of it (figure 4A 32) adjacent to the pivot pin 29, meshing with the teeth (figure 4A 41) of the main handle 10. Pivoting the rest to the open position allows the rest to be moved, ensuring easy adjustment to suit different hand sizes. |
