RUBBER ROLLER FOR PRINTING INK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber roller for a printing ink which does not bring about an adhesion/storage of ink tailings or the like at both ends, or occurrence of a printing fault which is easy to be attached or detached and which can shorten its cleaning time. SOLUTION: The rubber roller 1 for the printing ink constitutes an inking unit of an offset printer or a letterpress printer. A hardness of a surface of right or left end 1a of the roller in a widthwise direction W is harder than that of a surface of a central part 1b except the right and left ends 1a. Further, a difference of their hardnesses is in a range of 10 deg. to 25 deg. in the hardness according to JIS K 6301.
