PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally reversible recording medium which is stable over time and practical under daily life environments. SOLUTION: In the thermally reversible recording material using a color developing reaction between an electron-donative coloring compound and an electron-receptive compound, the electron-donative coloring compound in an amorphous state is used.
