PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and promptly testing skin sensitivity of a testing substance with a small amount of the testing substance without making a complicated animal experiment. SOLUTION: In a method for testing skin sensitivity of the testing substance, after mixing peptide containing cysteine in a molecular weight of not higher than 50,000 as a monomer with the testing substance, presence or absence of a coupled substance of the peptide and the testing substance is measured.
