PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly join a rapier band to a member to be mounted. SOLUTION: This apparatus for joining comprises at least a pair of mutually threaded screw members for nipping the rapier band to the member to be mounted. One of the screw members is provided with a truncated conical nipping part converging from the side of one end to the side of the other end and having an obtuse vertical angle at one end and the truncated conical upper base has a larger diameter dimension than that of the screw part of the one screw member. The rapier band has a space and a hole receiving the one screw member and the space is formed of a truncated conical surface having nearly the same vertical angle as the vertical angle of the nipping part. All of the nipping part is received with the space during joining.
