PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composite uneven yarn suitable for obtaining a fabric assuming an excellent natural feeling and spunized appearance, even a good dry feeling and excellent wrinkle recovery properties. SOLUTION: This polyester composite uneven yarn is obtained by compounding and combining (A) polyester thick and thin fibers with (B) a polyester drawn fibers. The polyester thick and thick fibers (A) have >=80% elongation (ELA), <=50% elastic recovery ratio at 10% elongation (ERA), <=5.89 GPa elongational modulus of elasticity (EMA), >=25% crystallinity (XpA), <=3% boiling water shrinkage percentage (BWSA) and <=0.44 mN/dtex thermal stress at 160 deg.C (TSA). The polyester drawn fibers (B) have <=40% elongation (ELB), >=7.85 GPa elongational modulus of elasticity (EMB), >=5% boiling water shrinkage percentage (BWSB) and >=0.88 mN/dtex thermal stress at 160 deg.C (TSB). The polyester composite uneven yarn has respective peak values (Pmax1 and Pmax2 ) present at 4-10 cm period and 50-150 cm period on a spectrograph obtained by normal tests and the peak value ratio (Pmax1 /Pmax2 ) thereof is 1.0-4.0.
