PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curing composition capable of forming a coating film having a high surface hardness, excellent adhesion and chemical and weather resistances, and to provide a method for forming the film using the curing composition. SOLUTION: The curing composition is characterized by compounding (A) an alkoxysilyl group-containing compound prepared by reacting (a) an amino group-containing silane compound having a specific structure with (b) an acrylic unsaturated compound containing >=2 acryloyl groups and/or methacryloyl groups on the average in one molecule with (C) a cationic reaction initiator, and further as necessary, (B) a cationically reactive compound, (D) a radically polymerizable compound and (E) a radical polymerization initiator. The method for forming the film uses the curing composition.
