MEDICINAL PLANT EXTRACT FOR PROMOTION OF RELEASE OF GROWTH HORMONE

PURPOSE: A medicinal plant extract containing a Lycii Fructus extract which promotes the release of growth hormone as an effective ingredient is provided. The Lycii Fructus extract is harmless to a human body, therefore it can be effectively used in prophylaxis and treatment of various diseases related with growth hormone. CONSTITUTION: Lycii Fructus is added with alcohol or a mixed solvent of alcohol and water, hydrolyzed with a 0.1 to 2N acid or base solution, neutralized and then extracted with alcohol or a mixed solvent of alcohol and water. The Lycii Fructus contains Lycii Fructus, Lycii Cortex Radicis and leaf of Lycii fructus.
