A cube or ice-cube is added to the liquid and then exposed to high frequency sound waves. A method for killing bacteria in solids and liquids by ionization comprises adding a (ice-)cube to the material and then exposing the cube to high frequency sound waves, which are then propagated to the material around the cube.
