<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level detector for a compressor such as air conditioner to detect a change in a level of a lubricating oil in the compressor used for an air conditioner, etc., using a pair of a light emitting sensor and a light receiving sensor under pressurized state. SOLUTION: The level detector is characterized in that a body 2 connected to a side perimeter of the compressor 1 has a communicating hole 5 therein, at least a pair of setting holes 6 are installed at a position intersecting at right angle with the communicating hole 5 and opposing with each other, the communicating hole 5 has not only a built-in float 8 capable of changing therein, a stopper 7 of the float 8 and an upper connecting pipe 3 and a lower connecting pipe 4 connected to the compressor 1 are attached to upper and lower ends thereof, plugs 9 and 9' adhering a transparent glass 10 in magnifying lens form are installed opposing with each other at inside ends in the setting holes 6, the light emitting sensor 11 is attached to the plug 9, the light receiving sensor 12 is attached to the plug 9', light emitted from the transmitting sensor 11 is passed through the transparent lens 10 in magnifying lens form positioned between both sensors 11 and 12 to strengthen, projected to the receiving sensor 12 and a position of the float 8 changing according to the liquid level in the compressor 1 is detected.</p> |
