PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing a tea product using leaves, roots, flowers of lotus as main ingredients. The manufactured tea product has detoxification activity, relieves fatigue and hangover, increases digestion and prevents adult diseases. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a tea product comprises the steps of: preparing each 100g of Nelumbinis Semen, Nymphaea tetragona var. angusta Casp., a lotus flower, Nelumbo nucifera Gaertner, and the like, then followed by washing with flowing water and drying in the shade them; cutting the prepared ingredients into 10mm or less; filling a 20liter container with 500g of the cut pieces of the ingredients, 5g of So-ju(korean traditional spirit) and 10L of water and boiling it to give an extract; filtering the extract and removing solids; adding 5L of water to the extract then boiling it at 100 deg.C for 5 hours until its volume becomes 250g; and retort packing it.
