PURPOSE: An energy reduction apparatus by using nanometer sized porous particles is provided to dissipate disturbance energy by reducing exothermic reaction, and to decrease the weight of the reducing apparatus with reversibility. CONSTITUTION: An energy reducing device by using nanometer sized porous particles is composed of a piston(10) transmitting disturbance from impact and vibration applied to the structure; a cylinder(20) containing the piston, and receiving disturbance; heterogeneous fluid(30) pressed by disturbance; an elastic bag(40) surrounding by heterogeneous fluid, and made of flexible material; water(50) stored in the elastic bag; and nanometer sized porous particles(60) stored in the elastic bag and surrounded by water. Disturbance energy is dissipated by flowing water in and out of pores of porous particles.
