PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for a plant, capable of facilitating the cultivation of the plant such as sprouts at home or the like. SOLUTION: A seed S of the plant is inserted into the container 1 composed of a water-absorbing material, and the upper opening is sealed with a thermobonding sheet 2 by thermobonding. When water is absorbed into the container 1, the thermobonding sheet 2 is almost naturally exfoliated.
