SCANNING PROBE MICROSCOPE

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a scanning probe microscope of novel arrangement applicable to various fields, e.g. biochemical field, for measuring various physical properties. CONSTITUTION: At the forward end part of a probe 2 in the scanning probe microscope, a carbon nanotube 3 having a conductive armchair type crystal structure or a carbon nanotube 3 having a forward end part modified chemically with a specified modifier molecule is provided.
