PURPOSE: Provided are a protease, as a protein, derived from nonstructural protein 3 of hepatitis C virus and method for manufacturing the same. In particular, the protease being at the amino end of hepatitis C virus nonstructural protein is provided as a protein. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant protein is characterized by containing 213 amino acids from the amino end of hepatitis C virus nonstructural protein and having protease activity. It is added with histidine at the amino end and produced by an expression vector pRSET-NS3Δ and E.coli transformant(KCTC 8779P).
