PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for completely and certainly removing urochrome, urobilin or hemoglobin, i.e., undecomposable colored components in excretion. SOLUTION: Clay and a pore-forming material are mixed with water, and the mixture is molded to an appropriate shape, and dried. After a temperature of the dried molded body rises to 600-800 deg.C in 5-15 hours by self-burning of the pore-forming material in the molded body, the temperature of the molded body is maintained at 600-800 deg.C for 3-7 hours and is subsequently raised to 1,200-1,500 deg.C. The molded body is calcined at this temperature for 4-8 hours and after cooling, it is crushed. The human excretion or the treated excretion containing a colored component are introduced to an aeration tank filled with the thus obtained porous ceramic of which a pore surface is amorphous and activated carbons and an aeration treatment is subsequently carried out to remove the colored compounds.
|
