PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight, inexpensive and strong support device good in user's convenience enabling a carer to easily perform transfer work without causing pain to a care taker at the time of placing, taking-down and movement of the care taker. SOLUTION: In the scooping-up type support device having constitution such that endless belts are superposed one upon another, a falling preventing plate having a falling preventing function is raised at the leading end of a support panel arranged to an upper part or a means for shifting the position of the support panel is provided or a partition guide plate and a press roller are arranged between both of upper and lower drive rollers in addition to a means for loosening the tension of the belts. Further, a loosening housing space is provided to loosen the endless belts to reduce the tension thereof and the racing of the drive rollers is put to practical use to prevent the transmission of driving force to the endless belts.
