PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide furniture which has a simple structure and can be used for plural purposes such as a seat for a chair and a top plate for a desk. SOLUTION: The furniture is equipped with a board body 1 and a main body 2 of furniture which can be placed in plural free-standing arrangements. Supporting parts 211 on which the board body 1 can be placed are formed at places where an upper surface of the main body 2 of the furniture is situated respectively in more than two free-standing arrangements of all. The heights of the board body 1 placed on the supporting parts 211 varies depending on the different arrangements of the main body 2.
