PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a banana ripening chamber having a plurality of shutters for shelters capable of simply carrying out operation to introduce bananas into the chamber, facilitating setting even when the amount of bananas is incomplete without the need for arranging pallets in left and right symmetry and in even numbers, processing the bananas containing those with shifted shipping period mixed therein in the same chamber, simplifying devices in the chamber and nearly eliminating maintenance. SOLUTION: This banana ripening chamber is obtained by providing a structure for installing a plurality of vertically slidable shutters 3 separate from both sides 1 in the chamber, mounting packings 4 protruding into the chamber under the shutters 3 and mounting packings 6 for the shelters on the surfaces of guide rails 5 of the shutters 3. Partition plates 2 for the shelters are preferably stood between the sides 1 and the guide rails 5 or the shutters 3 can preferably be made to closely adhere to the floor surface.
