PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet sand for pet cat, capable of satisfying performances fundamentally required as the toilet sand for pet, such as absorbing capacity that is especially required as the toilet sand for cat, having a small bulk density so as to be excellently convenient for transporting, etc., capable of being treated as combustible wastes after use, and therefore convenient for handling. SOLUTION: This toilet sand for pet cat is prepared by mixing a raw material of regenerated paper ceramic charcoal, a high-absorbent polymer, and guar gum, and then granulating the mixture to form a porous granular material. And, bentonite is preferably compounded and mixed instead of the high- absorbent polymer and the guar gum in the above components.
