COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING EXTRACT OF ADVENTITIOUS ROOTS OF TISSUE-CULTURED WILD GINSENG

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing an extract of adventitious roots of tissue-cultured wild ginseng which has whitening function is provided. Therefore, the composition has an excellent whitening effect without causing skin irritation. CONSTITUTION: Adventitious roots of tissue-cultured wild ginseng are dried, washed, extracted in a solvent selected from the group consisting of ethanol or a mixture of ethanol and 1,3-butylene glycol or a mixture of ethanol and propylene glycol. The extract is filtered after aging. The cosmetic composition with whitening function contains 0.1 to 10.0% by weight of an extract of adventitious roots of tissue-cultured wild ginseng and is formulated into a skin lotion, milk lotion, emulsion cream, massage cream, essence, gel, pack and emulsion.
