PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less damaging balance weight for a drum washing machine with a lower production cost and a production method thereof. SOLUTION: The balance weight for drum washing machines contains a housing that forms a fixed internal space to be connected to a tub and a cement mounted in the internal space of the housing. The production method of the balance weight for drum washing machines contains a process of molding the housing using a die with a fixed shape, a process of injecting the cement into the housing and a process of hardening the cement inside the housing.
