PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing red hot chili pepper powder using a gem and hardwood charcoal to remove impurities and to sterilize bacteria, thereby hygienically manufacturing red hot chili pepper powder. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing red hot chili pepper powder using a gem and hardwood charcoal comprises the steps of: injecting air to the surface of red hot chili pepper to remove impurities therefrom; injecting to the surface of the red hot chili pepper a washing solution passing through a gem and hardwood charcoal to sterilize bacteria; naturally drying the sterilized red hot chili pepper, then followed by cutting it and removing seeds therefrom; grinding the seed removed red hot chili pepper into a certain particle size; selecting and removing metal powder from the red hot chili pepper powder, then followed by heat-drying and sterilizing it; and removing remaining metal powder therefrom, then followed by storing it in a storage tank and vacuum-packing it.
