PURPOSE: A control device of an electromotive power steering is provided to set up the exact steering position and steering angle while preventing overload of a servomotor, lengthen the service life of the servomotor, secure improved steering state, and protect a driver in a collision accident by not installing a rotating shaft. CONSTITUTION: In a control device of an electromotive power steering, a power unit(19) is installed to a servomotor(7), and a timer(17) and an operating switch(16) are connected to an electronic control unit(18) of a control device(15). A vehicle speed-sensing unit(12), a torque sensor(13), and an engine rotation velocity unit(14) of a sensing device(11) are connected to the electronic control unit. The control device and the sensing device control the servomotor and thus, overload of the servomotor is prevented and the exact steering position and steering angle are set up.
