PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary dishwasher by washing a washing tank and installed components inside the washing tank or the like at the time desired by a user and efficiently washing the washing tank. SOLUTION: The dishwasher is provided with the washing tank housing dishes and a washing water storage part provided on the lower part of the washing tank for storing washing water supplied from the outside and washes the dishes by pressurizing the washing water stored in the washing water storage part by a washing pump and jetting it toward the dishes. The dishwasher is provided with the washing tank washing mode of performing the washing tank washing process of supplying the washing water of nature different from the one at the time of normal dishwashing to the washing water storage part or the washing tank washing process of lowering the output of the pump and performing an operation on the basis of an instruction from a washing mode selection means by the user.
