PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise forward moving tool lightly and smoothly advancing/aligning merchandise through one action. SOLUTION: The merchandise forward moving tool is attached to a merchandise display tool T provided with a merchandise hanging bar A in a horizontal direction, a supporting bar B provided almost parallelly to the merchandise hanging bar A above the merchandise hanging bar A, and a rear vertical part C connecting the merchandise hanging bar A and the supporting bar B. The merchandise forward moving tool is provided with an attaching part 2 with a pair of left and right locking pieces 1 to be attachably and detachably locked to the vertical part C, an advancing plate 3 moving the merchandise S forward, an elastic member 4 connecting the attaching part 2 and the advancing plate 3 and repulsively energizing the advancing plate 3 rearwards, and a holding bar 5 in the horizontal direction projectingly attached on the side of the front surface 3b of the advancing plate 3. The advancing plate 3 is provided with a lower side groove to be guided by the merchandise hanging bar A and an upper side groove to be guided by the supporting bar B.
