PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending stopper of a flexible endoscope causing no entrance of a polluted liquid between a tip part of the bending stopper and an outer peripheral surface of a flexible tube, and easy in installation to and disassembling from the flexible tube. SOLUTION: This bending stopper of the flexible endoscope forms the thickness in a cylindrical shape of gradually thinning toward the tip side out of a resilient material, is arranged by surrounding the vicinity of the connecting end of the flexible tube 1 connected to a rigid body part 2 of the endoscope, and is installed in a state of fastening the flexible tube in a tip part. The tip part of the bending stopper 3 becomes a state of resiliently extending over a range of 11.1 to 17.6% by fastening the flexible tube 1.
