PURPOSE: A rotary cam fixing member is formed in one side of a base die to limit one side of the rotary cam before padding of a panel by a pad to reduce failure rate. CONSTITUTION: A rotary cam type press comprises a rotary cam(5) to form an undercut portion in a forming panel by reciprocal rotating movement in the center of a base die. A driving cylinder(7) moves the rotary cam in the reciprocal rotating movement periodically. A pad(11) is mounted in upper portion to pad an introduced panel with the base die. A forming steel(9) is installed in the upper portion to press the panel with the rotary cam by a cam operation. A rotary cam fixing member is mounted in one side of the base die to limit one side of the rotary cam to the rotating direction before padding by the pad.
