PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autoclave capable of the efficiency of sterilization by sterilizing a plurality of endoscopes simultaneously. SOLUTION: In the autoclave 1, a plurality of endoscopes 10 are put into a sterilizing tank 2 to sterilize them simultaneously. Communication sections 5a and 5b are connected to each endoscope 10 to detect pressure inside each endoscope 10 with pressure sensors 6a and 6b. In a hermetically sealing test which is executed before filling steam in the tank 2, the pressure P1 of the tank 2 is reduced by an intratank discharging means 3 (a suction pump 31) first to a maintain the tank in a state of a pressue P1 . Upon detecting a gradual decrease in the pressure with time with the sensor 6a (or the sensor 6b), it is judged that the hermetical sealing of the endoscope 10 of a (or b), supply of steam is stopped and the information of emergency and for specifying the endoscope 10 whose hermetical sealing is impaired is notified with a notification means 7. |
