PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a midsole for sport shoes whose structure satisfies both stable and cushioned properties when landing. SOLUTION: The midsole is provided with an upper midsole 3 made of a soft elastic member which is extendingly provided from a feel section to a toe section of the shoe, a lower midsole 4 made of the soft elastic member which is arranged at least in the heel section beneath the upper midsole, and a corrugated sheet unit 5 which is interposedly supported between the upper and lower midsoles 3, 4 and extendingly provided from the heel section H to a metatarsal section M of the upper midsole 3. The corrugated sheet unit 5 has an external instep side sheet 5a and an internal instep side sheet 5b which occupy the external side and the internal side respectively, and is structured in a way the external and internal instep side sheets 5a, 5b are fastened by overlapping each adjacent belt hem portion 50e, 51e. The hem portion 51e which makes the border line of each sheet 5a, 5b is arranged spreading across a load shift curve Tw at the time of landing from the heel section.
